Dr. Robert Lustig is Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Lustig has become a leading public health authority on the impact sugar has on fueling the diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome epidemics, and on addressing changes in the food environment to reverse these chronic diseases.
Dr. Lustig has authored 125 peer-reviewed articles and 73 reviews. He has mentored 20 pediatric endocrine fellows, and trained numerous other allied health professionals. He provides endocrinologic support to several protocols of the Children’s Oncology Group. He is the former Chairman of the Ad hoc Obesity Task Force of the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society, a member of the Pediatric Obesity Practice Guidelines Subcommittee of The Endocrine Society, a member of the Obesity Task Force of the Endocrine Society, a member of the Pediatric Obesity Devices Committee of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, a member of the Bay Area Board of Directors of the American Heart Association, and a member of the Steering Committee of Health Foods, Healthy Kids of the Culinary Institute of America. He also consults for several childhood obesity advocacy groups.

Dr. Kritchevsky is an epidemiologist whose primary research interests are in the areas of nutrition, body composition, chronic disease and age-related declines in physical function. His scientific background is diverse with over 400 peer-reviewed publications, and a history of NIH funding in aging, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, genomics and health services research. His research experience spans the range of population research methodologies including group randomized trials, behavioral and pharmaceutical intervention trials, the use of administrative data, and traditional cohort and case-control methodologies. While at University of Tennessee he established the Clinical Epidemiology Masters Program, at Wake Forest he leads research career development programs in the Aging Center and for the School of Medicine. Dr. Kritchevsky has extensive leadership experience of complex research enterprises. He is the first non-physician PI of a Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center, and was the first Director of the coordinating center for the entire Pepper program. He leads Wake Forest's KL2 mentored career development program, and is an associate director of Wake Forest's Clinical and Translational Science Institute.

Thomas Dayspring MD is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the National Lipid Association and is certified in internal medicine, and clinical lipidology. After practicing in New Jersey for 37 years, in 2012 he moved to Virginia and served as an educational director for a nonprofit cardiovascular foundation and until mid-2019 as a Chief Academic Advisor for two major CV laboratories. Since then, he has served as a virtual cardiovascular / lipidology educator. Career-wise he has given over 4000 domestic (in all 50 states) and several international lectures, including over 600 CME programs on atherothrombosis, lipids/lipoproteins (and their treatment), vascular biology, biomarker testing, and women’s cardiovascular issues. He has authored several manuscripts and lipid textbook chapters and performed several podcasts. For several years he was an Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Lipidology. He was the recipient of the 2011 National Lipid Association’s Presidents Award for services to clinical lipidology and the 2023 Foundation of NLA Clinician/Educator Award. He has over 35K followers on his educational Twitter (X) feed (@Drlipid). He has Gold Heart Member status as a professional member of the American Heart Association and serves as a Social Media Ambassador for the European Atherosclerosis Society and for the National Lipid Association.

Dr. Adam Perlman is an internationally recognized expert in Integrative and Functional Medicine. He is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Pendulum Therapeutics, a biotech company focused on the microbiome and its connection to chronic disease.
He formerly served as the Director of Integrative Health and Wellbeing at Mayo Clinic, Florida and Medical Director for Employee Wellbeing. Prior to that, he was Associate Vice President for Health and Wellness for the Duke University Health System, overseeing Duke Integrative Medicine and the Duke Diet Center.
Dr. Perlman received his BA from Tufts University and his MD from Boston University School of Medicine, completing residencies in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine as well as a General Internal Medicine Research Fellowship at Boston Medical Center. He earned an MPH from the Boston University School of Public Health. He is also certified in Functional Medicine.
Doctor Perlman has been practicing Integrative and Functional Medicine for over 25 years at some of the top healthcare systems in the Country. Dr. Damon Tweedy is a distinguished psychiatrist, author, and professor who has made significant contributions to the discourse on race and medicine in America. He is widely recognized for his insightful perspectives on the challenges faced by Black professionals in the medical field and the broader implications of racial disparities in healthcare.
Dr. Tweedy's journey in medicine began with his education at Duke University School of Medicine, where he excelled academically while navigating the complexities of being a Black man in a predominantly white institution. He later completed his residency in psychiatry at Duke and joined the faculty at Duke University Medical Center.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Tweedy has garnered national acclaim for his writing. His first book, "Black Man in a White Coat: A Doctor's Reflections on Race and Medicine," offers a poignant and personal exploration of his experiences and the systemic inequities in the healthcare system. The book has been praised for its candid and thought-provoking examination of race, identity, and the medical profession.

Brian Devorkin
Brian grew up in Milwaukee, WI before attending the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree. He obtained his B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology in 2022. Soon after he spent a year working under the renowned aging scientist David Sinclair. During this year he continued to explore his interest in longevity and health optimization as he geared up for medical school. Currently, he is located in Cleveland, OH on track as an aspiring physician at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
His passions include nutrition guidance for optimal health, science-backed exercise protocols, interpretation of elaborate biomarkers (blood, stool, urine, saliva, etc), managing sleep hygiene, and controlling stress. Additionally, after nearly a year of intensive emotional intelligence and leadership work, he also is passionate about helping others heal, not just physically, but also emotionally.
